LOOKING FOR A
Animated Text
MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER?
Claire believes everyone in life should be happy and seeking personal and professional growth. She believes in this so much so, that she created the name “iTopia” for her company by playing on the words “individual” and “utopia” because she passionately believes everyone should be working towards their version of utopia.
Yet, many people put up with unhappiness or dissatisfaction with the way things are due to a sense of duty, guilt, fear or financial obligation and are afraid to challenge the status quo. And, when people are stuck in a rut, it usually takes a major event to jolt them out of “sleepwalking” through their life. But it shouldn’t take a heart attack, bankruptcy, or loss for people to decide to change their life.
In Claire’s motivational and keynote speeches, she combines the lessons she has gained from her personal struggles and her twenty-year corporate experience, alongside a unique scientific understanding of happiness and creating a culture of health gained from her studies with UC Berkeley and Harvard Business School.
With humor, authenticity and persuasiveness, Claire energises, empowers, inspires her audiences. She encourages her audiences to their highest level of personal and professional growth – because it shouldn’t take a heart attack, bankruptcy, loss or an encounter with an angry grizzly bear for people to decide to change their life.
She challenges people to challenge the status quo.

From the moment that Claire took to the stage, we knew that we were going to witness a first-hand accounting of a traumatic event. It began with her sharing her story of surviving a face to face encounter with an angry grizzly bear to her sharing her story of surviving a terrifying experience with anxiety and depression.
Her story touched many in the room. It was raw and authentic, and each word was chosen thoughtfully and carefully to acknowledge the power that anxiety and depression has on many of us. The room was still - you could have heard a pin drop. I would not hesitate to recommend Claire to any organization who is seeking a speaker who can share such a personal experience with such a worthwhile message. Self-care....is important, is necessary and we are not weak when we seek self-care. Judy Kucharuk Special events manager / Encana Events /

One kind word can change someone’s entire day. Attending the Spark Women's Leadership Conference last year and hearing Claire Rogers speak, not only changed my day, it changed my whole life!! It was like she was speaking to only me, and yet the banquet hall was filled to capacity with about 400 attendees.

Leadership: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Have you ever worked for a motivating and inspiring leader that had such a significant impact on you, that it made you want to be your best self? Have you worked for a bad leader that you couldn’t seem to win with? Or worst yet, have you ever worked for an ugly leader – a bully, megalomaniac or tyrant, that left you feeling miserable and depressed?
In this motivational speech, Claire will describe her own experience of working for the good, the bad, and the ugly leaders. Her story and lessons will give audiences insights and practical tools on how to be an authentic, motivating and inspiring leader and how to demonstrate personal leadership. Furthermore, Claire will also illustrate how to work for and recover from working for bad and ugly leaders.
How to Thrive in a VUCA WorldToday in business, success does not come from peddling faster, yet we often don’t understand the difference between activity and productivity, but that is where success lies. Time pressures, family pressures, work pressures; how to balance it all without burning out? That’s the question.
In this session, using a unique scientific understanding of happiness at work and creating a culture of health gained from her studies with UC Berkeley and Harvard Business School as well as the lessons gained from her personal struggle to find balance in a changing world, Claire will provide tangible, workable steps for building a healthy, fulfilled workforce.
